Basic Ground Cover

A view of the peninsula from the entry way. I couldn't stand the bare earth look and spent some time the last day before leaving to Georgia this spring adding basic ground cover. I ballasted the track since returning.

Both of these areas shown eventually will be thickly wooded Northern New England scenes. I had originally intended running a scenery divider down the middle of the peninsula but nixed that idea for steep ridgelines and then will have 5-6 inch tall trees from the top of the hills down to track level. The area on the southern end of the P&R runs along and through the foot hills of the various mountains (White Mountain, etc.) along the Maine - New Hampshire border.
