What Harbor Scene?

The harbor and 2 piers I have planned are also the most convenient place to set evrthing while working. I will probably not even start to complete this area until all other scenery work is done on the rest of the layout.

This is cool, though, to see how you will be integrating the piers into the layout - have not seen this view before. I like that you will have some waterfront on the layout.

I know what you mean about flat areas. I have a nice flat area for an industrial park in Lyndonville, and it will be the last place I work on, at least when it comes to installing the remaining track. It is so convenient for all kinds of work, and storage - I'll miss it when it is gone :-)

For the open house yesterday I (for the first time) put some flex track, cars, and some buildings from my Free-mo module onto this area. It was amazing how it changed from a table to an area that looks like it will be fun to build and operate. Probably the same when you stage some things on your peninsula area.

Thanks for the updates! Good to see you are still working on the layout.
